Personal finance course for 13+ year olds…

…who want to narrow the bridge between

what they learn in school and the use of this knowledge in life.

What do grown-ups spend their money on? 

What is the fuss about taxes? 

How much money do I need to live away from the parents? 

Where should I keep my money? 

What is a credit record and why do I need it?

Over a 5 week course you will:

  • be guided by an enthusiastic teacher in a group of fewer than 5

  • improve awareness of money value and management and the cost of things

  • learn about needs versus wants, saving versus earning and general banking

  • engage in interactive and practical financial life problems

  • apply Maths school curriculum knowledge in everyday life situations

Three 1:30hrs sessions on:

Wednesday 28th July 11:00-12:30 Thursday 29th July 11:00-12:30 Friday 30th July 11:00-12:30
